DRUMMING WORKSHOP with ANDY FOWLER
Drumming is an ancient practice that boosts our mental health and creativity, helps regulate our nervous system, assists us to process our emotions, creates and bonds community, and connects us to the spirit world. By making ceremony with drums and dancing at full moon we heal and attune our bodies, minds and souls to nature's cycles and rhythms.
Andy ran the incredible drum workshops at last August's Queer Spirit Festival, and will be doing so again this summer (15-19 August at Bridwell Park, Devon).
Come early to the Wheatsheaf to improve your drumming skills and learn some new rhythms! All abilities welcome: Recommended for both beginners and experienced drummers! This will be a fun, and empowering, session. Payment for the workshop by donation please (suggested £10), either on the door or in advance to https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/shokti Technique, Rhythms + Improvisation Skills right before the drum circle.
At the Drum Circle there are lots of drums and percussion to share, you can also bring your own instruments, of any kind. Also welcome to bring snacks to share and your own refreshments.
DONATION requested £5-£10, on door or paypal to https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/shokti
